Summary The instructor is primarily responsible for creating a
performance-based learning and teaching environment for students in
accordance with the educational objectives of the College. This position
will support instruction for Northcentral Technical College\'s (NTC)
CODA-Accredited Dental Therapy program. This position will supervise and
teach Dental Therapy students in NTC\'s on-site dental clinic through
clinical enrichment experiences while staying familiar with the
program\'s objectives, content, instructional methods, and evaluation
procedures. Please note this is an in-person position located on campus
in Wausau, Wisconsin. Adjunct Application Information: Part-time
Instructors are hired on a per-course basis each semester, and teaching
one semester does not guarantee being assigned the following semester.
The teaching hours for a part-time instructor vary and can include day,
evening, and weekend classes. Adjunct faculty can teach a maximum of 12
student contact hours per week averaged over the semester. Essential
Functions And Responsibilities The Following Duties Are Primarily
performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to
be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily and

Facilitate learning through classroom activities, distance learning
experiences, out-of-classroom activities, and the mentoring of students
and peers. Assess and evaluate student performance in alignment with the
College assessment plan in a timely manner. Conduct assigned classes for
the scheduled length of time. Maintain accurate student records,
including grades, attendance, and clinical evaluations, and ensure
compliance with relevant privacy laws. Furnish written evaluations as
requested by students. Maintain course outcome summaries, learning
plans, Performance Assessment Tasks (PATs), syllabi, and online Learning
Management System template in the approved College format and time
parameter. Actively select and use appropriate learning materials and
resources including textbooks, library resources, equipment, and
supplies to enhance learning. Assist in planning, developing,
implementing, and evaluating a new or modified
course/certificate/program. Stay current and focused on learner needs.
Keep professionally up-to-date in area of content expertise and in the
