Campus Planning and Space Utilization is a unit assigned to the Finance and Administration Division of the UNC System Office. This position reviews real property transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and millennial campus transactions for the UNC System and its constituent institutions in support of the campus master plans and systemwide objectives. The position is also responsible for oversight of real property transactions systemwide including communication with the State Property Office. The position also maintains the computerized capital asset management database and is responsible for analysis to support facilities needs assessments and future capital requests. The position is also responsible for the annual facilities condition and space utilization report and other reports associated with real property transactions and management.
As a member of the Finance Division, this position works directly with the Vice President for Capital Planning and Finance and collaboratively with the SVP for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer and the UNC System institutions to ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements and UNC policies and procedures.
