Service-based role where the Hairdresser charges residents directly, with flexible earning potential

Schedule and Employment Type
Part-Time Days | 1-2 visits per week (schedule to be determined)
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional hair care services as a Hairdresser, including haircuts and styling for men and women
Perform beard and mustache trimming and grooming services
Provide permanent wave (perm) services and hair coloring or touch-up services
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary salon environment
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
Deliver services with patience, kindness, and respect while accommodating each resident's individual needs
Qualifications
Current and valid Iowa Cosmetology License required
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
