About the Role:
Northbridge Child Development Center in Saint Paul, MN is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Toddler Aid to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in supervising and engaging toddlers in age-appropriate activities
- Support daily routines including meals, nap time, diapering, and potty training
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily progress
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom space
- Follow all childcare licensing regulations and center policies
- Previous experience working with toddlers or young children preferred
- Basic understanding of early childhood development principles
- Ability to pass a background check as required by Minnesota childcare licensing
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patient, compassionate, and energetic demeanor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in early childhood education a plus
