Program Manager
Our client is seeking a program management consultant to join their PMO team which is responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards across the firm. This is an open-ended consulting engagement with no end date in mind. RTO: this job is onsite 3days per week. The compensation for this position is ($75/hr - $85/hr). Financial Services experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned projects from start to finish, providing updates and recommendations to project teams and senior management
- Plan and execute initiatives that improve processes, support new products, expand into new regions, integrate businesses, and implement technology solutions
- Create project charters, define goals and scope, and identify key stakeholders
- Work with different departments to build and coordinate project teams
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements
- Identify tasks, dependencies, and ensure teams stay on track with deadlines and deliverables
- Monitor risks and issues and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner
- Prepare project status reports by collecting and summarizing key information
- Lead cross functional meetings, set agendas, and communicate outcomes
- Present clear updates on project progress, resources, and plans to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of project management experience within financial services; asset management experience preferred
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as waterfall and agile
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and SharePoint
Salary : $75 - $85
