Payroll Associate
We are currently representing a well-established hedge fund in NYC seeking to add a Payroll Associate to their growing team. This position is remote-hybrid and is paying $70K-$80K base bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Support bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing for 500 employees across a multi-state U.S. environment, ensuring accurate tax withholdings, wage reporting, and employee benefit deductions.
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely (semi-monthly and bi-weekly)
- Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting/close process (W-2, W-2c, taxable fringe)
- Work with the HR and Finance team on projects, as needed
- Allocate payroll invoices & garnishments for payment
- Assisting employees with payroll inquiries
- Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Accounting or Finance Degree preferred
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with financial services a plus;
Salary : $70,000
