What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology/Mammography Tech I (Full-Time, Day) position at Northbay?
At NorthBay Health the Radiology/Mammography Technologist I Observes prior to license, once license received, performs radiographic and mammographic studies. Produces radiographs and organizes images, completes the required paperwork and charges. Responsible for patient safety and wellbeing during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Assists with clerical duties and mammography regulatory tasks. Reports all equipment malfunctions. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an AMA approved mammography course.
- Licensure/Certification: Current California Radiographic and Mammographic Technologist licensure obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in x-ray.
- Skills: Basic clerical and computer experience.
- Standards of Performance: Demonstrate performance by adhering to established policies and procedures and exhibiting the defined characteristics associated with attendance and punctuality.
- Physical Effort: Attendance is an essential function of the job. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Compensation: Hourly salary range MIN$66.52 - MAX$80.84 (offered hourly rate is based on years of experience)
