National Sales Manager
Territory Focus: Pacific Northwest & East Coast Wine Markets
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven National Sales Manager to lead and expand wine sales across key markets in the Pacific Northwest and East Coast regions. This individual will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, wholesale and key account relationships, increasing market share, and driving revenue growth within the wine industry.
This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who is interested in building out the sales function within the organization and thrives on developing relationships. A strong understanding of regional wine markets and passion for representing quality wines is critical for the success of this position.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets across the Pacific Northwest and East Coast territories
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with retailers, restaurants, hospitality groups, and national accounts
- Manage and grow existing client relationships while expanding market penetration
- Analyze sales trends, competitive activity, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with executive leadership on pricing strategy, forecasting, and market planning
Market Presence & Brand Representation
- Represent the company at wine industry events, tastings, trade shows, and customer meetings
- Educate trade partners and customers on portfolio offerings, brand positioning, and market differentiators
- Travel regularly throughout assigned territories to maintain visibility and strengthen partnerships
Reporting & Collaboration
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and production teams to align sales initiatives
- Provide market feedback and strategic recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- 5 years of wine industry sales experience, preferably with multi-state or national territory responsibility
- Proven success managing distributor networks and growing regional wine sales
- Strong understanding of three-tier distribution and wine market dynamics
- Established relationships within Pacific Northwest and/or East Coast wine markets preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
