Job Description
As a Registered Nurse on the Endoscopy Unit you will provide safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care to our patients following Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, the Relationship Based Care, and the NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for all patients assigned to your care. You will also use a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient and their family along with your interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for the patient. Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing.
- BSN required by January 1, 2020, unless grandfathered as outlined in March 2014 letter.
Licensure:
- Valid and current RN license by the State of California.
- Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS.
- ACLS required
- Procedural Sedation Certification within 3 months
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required (5 years preferred) in an acute care setting within the last 5 years,
- 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience strongly desired
- Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
Work Hours:
- FTE : 0.8 (Full-Time Equivalent)
- Total Hours : 64 hours over two pay periods (2 weeks)
- Shift : 8-hour shifts, Variable
- Stand-by with call-back required
Compensation:
- Hourly Salary Range Min $74.77 - Max $90.16 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
- Plus, Generous Shift Differentials
