New year new opportunity! We are seeking a full time Licensed Dental Assistant to join our practice.
Responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients for dental procedures, including recording medical/dental histories, four-handed dental assisting techniques, current Infection Control Compliance, and exposing high-quality digital radiographs . Skill in providing excellent customer service and support; ability to multi-task and work as a positive team player.
Position requires a current MA Dental Assistant Registration, Radiology Certification, computer literacy, CPR certification . BLS for Health Care Providers required.
We have two dental operatories and two assistants for each doctor plus a surgical suite.

Compensation will be based on experience. This position can be 4 or 5 days per week . The options can be discussed in an interview.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Take good quality digital dental X-rays
-Take impressions and pour models, 3D scanner for Invisalign
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Maintain accurate detailed patient records
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with prosthodontics procedures
- Support pediatric dentistry and general dentistry services
- Practice four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care
- Handle coding and documentation related to dental procedures, setting complete treatment, printing treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Completion of a dental assistant program (preferred)
- X-Ray certification
- Knowledge of dental coding and documentation practices
- Experience working in a dental practice setting is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients in a professional manner
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
