Job Summary
Our mission is to provide patient's with quality care and friendly staff. We are looking to hire an experienced optician that is detail oriented, able to multitask, and is willing to perform other job duties around the office including pre-testing and front desk responsibilities.
Job duties
- Educate patient's on frame and lens options
- Style, measure, and fit patient's into appropriate frame and lens combinations
- Prepare and submit optical orders to appropriate lab
- Adjust frame to custom fit patient's
- Have a working knowledge of optical equipment
- Have a working knowledge of current frame trends and lens design options
- Ability to perform lab duties, including checking lenses in, edging lenses and verifying exactness of lenses (experience not necessary for lab duties)
- Assist in maintaining inventory - take monthly inventories and meet with reps
Requirements
- Previous optical experience
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills

- Starting at $20/hour depending on experience
