North Winds Heating and Cooling, Okemos Michigan. We are a locally owned full-service HVAC company specializing in heating and cooling installation and repairs for our Residential and Commercial customers. We have been serving the Greater Lansing and surrounding communities for over 40 years!
We are currently looking for an Entry Level HVAC Service / Maintenance Technician to join our team! This position serves both residential and commercial customers, we provide hands-on, paid job training to build a lasting career in the HVAC industry!

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional overtime
Pay Rate: $18.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience Spiffs

Primary Job Function: To provide service and maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Pass background check & drug screen
- Valid driver's license & insurable driving record
- Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School or combination of experience and education
- EPA Universal Certification
- Mechanically inclined
- Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the service of HVAC equipment
- Work from 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder
- Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
- Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions as given
- Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service skills
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Well organized and ability to work independently and as a team
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School
- EPA Universal Certification
Salary : $18 - $25
