This role will lead the FP&A function, champion process improvements, and ensure financial strategies align with business objectives.ResponsibilitiesLead FP&A to monitor performance, develop financial strategies, and support decision-makingPartner with executive and business unit leaders to drive strategic initiativesOversee financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting using advanced analytics toolsDevelop and implement policies for accurate financial data collection and analysisManage risk, internal controls, and audit readiness for regulatory complianceMentor and develop the FP&A team, fostering continuous improvementDrive change management and process improvements, especially in PE-backed environmentsCommunicate complex financial insights to stakeholders at all levelsQualificationsDesired Education / Experience:Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/advanced degree preferred)10 years of related discipline;A combination of education and experience equivalent to abovePreferred Knowledge / Ability: Advanced knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, forecasting, and modelingProven success in FP&A process improvements, automation, and analyticsExperience with Deltek CostPoint, BI, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Prior experience in PE-backed companies requiredStrong analytical, communication, and presentation skillsMust have experience in government contracting (GovCon), including familiarity with FAR, CAS, and compliance requirements.U.S. Persons per ITAR requiredMay be required to travel up to 10% of the timeKnowledge of various contract vehicles, procurement processes and sub-contracting procedures.US citizenship required to obtain/maintain a DOD security clearance.North Wind is an equal opportunity employer.
