North Wind Site Services is focused on providing engineering, program management, environmental remediation services including investigation and characterization, environmental restoration, unexploded ordnance/military munitions response (MMRP), regulatory public involvement services, environmental compliance, logistics, and records and facility management.
POSITION PURPOSE:
Support Environmental Records Management Contract
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review data entries and make corrections as needed on data entry indices.
- Apply data entry corrections in the database and web database according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Review hard and electronic copies of Restoration Record documents for completeness and organization and correct minor discrepancies according to Departmental policies.
- Label and slip sheet documents reviewed or entered.
- Assist Supervisor with various projects in the file room.
- Utilize standard software applications including MS Office applications and Adobe.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 2 Years of experience as a general clerk or related position
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word and Access
- Strong computer skills
Special Requirements:
The selected candidate must pass a background security check, drug test, and be able to obtain and maintain government-issued Common Access Card (CAC).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- This position is a sedentary role. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be sitting for long periods of time but will also be required to stand, walk, and communicate with others.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- All work will be performed indoors.
- Exposure to standard office equipment and noise levels.
