What You’ll Do
As a Lead Mitigation Technician, you’ll be responsible for leading water mitigation jobs from start to finish, including:
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to water damage losses, assess the situation, and create an action plan
- Lead small crews and ensure work meets IICRC standards
- Set, monitor, and manage drying equipment
- Perform demolition as needed (drywall removal, flooring removal, etc.)
- Document all work clearly with photos, moisture readings, and daily job notes
- Communicate with customers, adjusters, and office staff in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean, safe jobsite
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Protect NWR’s reputation for excellence and service
What We’re Looking ForRequired
- At least 2 years of mitigation or related construction experience
- Ability to lead, teach, and make confident field decisions
- Valid driver’s license clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs routinely
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using job-based apps (training provided)
Preferred
- IICRC WRT, ASD, FSRT or similar certifications
- Previous experience in insurance restoration
- Ability to run a job from start to finish independently
- Working knowledge of moisture mapping and psychrometrics

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
