What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at North West Labs?
We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team In Novi and Brighton. The phlebotomist will draw blood for tests, transfusions, donations, or research.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and store blood samples from patients
- Distribute samples to designated departments
- Monitor storage and inventory of supplies
- Maintain clean and healthy work environment
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures
- Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reaction
Qualifications:
- Phlebotomist Certification Required
- Previous experience in phlebotomy, nursing, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Strong organizational skills
Days: Monday - Friday
4 days in Novi, 1 day in Brighton
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)
