What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Service Advisor and Warranty/Sublet Administration position at North Water Marine?
We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented professional to own both the front-line customer experience and the full warranty administration process. This combined role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, communication, and turning a great repair experience into a loyal customer relationship. Base pay plus quarterly commissions.
Core Responsibilities
Service Advisory
- Greet customers; capture complaint, cause and correction
- Create and manage detailed repair orders
- Contact customers with estimates; present and upsell additional needed work
- Keep customers updated throughout the repair process
- Inspect quality of completed work before delivery
- Finalize and invoice all repair orders accurately
- Return all customer calls same day
Warranty & Sublet
- Review ROs for warranty eligibility
- Obtain competitive quotes from sublet vendors (welding, upholstery, etc.)
- Set and manage sublet job margins
- Submit OEM warranty claims accurately and promptly
- Reconcile warranty payments; resubmit denied claims
- Track warranty parts: tagging, return or proper disposal
- Monitor factory bulletins and recall notices
Previous experience in the marine industry preferred.
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
