What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock Hand position at North Water Marine?
North Water Marine is adding DOCK HANDS to the crew for the busy summer season. Located right on Lake Winnipesaukee in Weirs Beach, North Water Marine is excited to expand and grow. As a Dock Hand Team Member you would be responsible for:
- Move and stage both customer and rental boats in the water around our docks
- Move and launch customer valet boats with a tractor and trailer
- Launch customer valet boats as part of the dock team by assisting the fork lift driver from the ground
- Assist customers landing their boats on our docks for valet, fuel fill-ups and rentals
- Fuel boats and complete retail and gas transactions
- Complete daily rental boat check-out and check-in process; ensure customers are comfortable with boat operation and features
- Ensure rental boats and all items are ready, prepped, and clean on day of rental
- Drive electric carts to shuttle customers from parking to the rental or valet areas
Experience in any of these areas is helpful but not required as we will provide training. A drivers license and boaters license are preferred. Knowledge of Lake Winnipesaukee and the Lakes Region area helpful
