We are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist with general maintenance duties including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and building codes.
Maintain clean and organized maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours on-call maintenance as needed.
Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and pest control.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities support, or related field preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
Valid driver’s license preferred (depending on facility needs).
