We are looking for someone who has a great personality, is comfortable working at a fast-paced clinic, and who can work well with others. We're mainly after someone who can be positive and upbeat, as well as someone who is extremely thorough and detail-oriented. Required skills include the ability to prioritize patients, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of drug prescriptions and assist patients in filling out paperwork.
- Fill prescriptions accurately, using software systems and store protocols correctly and efficiently
- Operate cash registers, record inventory of drugs, order new supplies of drugs and track pharmaceutical deliveries.
- Understand and follow all laws and regulations pertaining to pharmacy practice.
- Answer phone calls, be positive and kind to patients on the phone and in person
- Help with keeping the pharmacy clean and tidy
