What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at North View Pharmacy?
North View Pharmacy is looking for either a Part-Time or Full-Time Pharmacy Technician. If you have experience and are licensed, we would like to meet with you.
We are part of a group of 5 independent pharmacies in Northern Utah, and our pharmacy is located in Layton, inside Tanner Clinic. We have a retail and long term care side to our pharmacy, and offer vaccines, bubble packing, and hospice care.
Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 1pm. Closed on Sundays and major holidays.
Responsibilities: We are looking for someone who can work in a fast paced setting, is friendly, works well with others and is detail oriented. Expectations include maintaining accuracy and efficiency, strong communication skills and adherence to pharmacy laws and protocols.
Duties: Data input, filling medications, selling prescriptions and working with patients and other health care professionals.
Qualifications: Current Utah Pharmacy Technician License
License: Must have a pharmacy technician license
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience and licensing
