Medical Collection/ Billing Specialist

Private orthopedic practice looking for an experienced COLLECTION and MEDICAL BILLING Specialist.
Candidates must have 3 years experience troubleshooting eligibility issues, reading EOP/EOB, modifiers and denial codes. Knowledge of different payers such as Medicare, Medi-Cal, PPO, HMO, IPAs & Workers Comp is necessary.
Must know how to submit claims electronically, identify, fix rejection errors and follow up.
Must have experience with Professional orthopedic billing and collection components. Strong CPT and ICD-10 knowledge is required.
FAMILIAR EMR SYSTEM IS A BONUS!
