A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DENTAL OFFICE ASSISTANT - TREATMENT COORDINATOR
As a Dental Office Assistant - Treatment Coordinator, you are an invaluable member of our team. As a practice, our goal is to address the unique needs of each patient and develop a customized plan that works for them and their budget. Your job is to meet with patients each day and help them understand their individualized treatment plans. With compassion, you address any concerns they have and help them see the benefits of going forward as well as the consequences of delaying or foregoing treatment.
Because of your warmth and knowledge, our patients trust that we have their best interests at heart. Once they decide to proceed with treatment, you take the lead in submitting insurance claims or mapping out a payment plan. On a consistent basis, you follow up with patients, making sure they are satisfied and ensuring that payment is made in full.
