Role Description: The Human Resources Employment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Zanesville, OH. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities, including posting job openings, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers through selection and offer processes. The specialist assists with onboarding new employees, preparing required documentation, facilitating orientation, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate HR records, supporting the administration of employee benefits, and responding to employee inquiries in a timely and confidential manner. The role also involves helping to implement HR policies, supporting compliance with employment laws and regulations, and contributing to employee engagement and retention initiatives. Collaboration with HR leadership and other departments is essential to support a consistent, positive employee experience.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) principles and practices, with experience supporting core HR functions.
- Willingness to collaborate with leaders on staffing, performance, and employee relations matters.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and employment regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply policies consistently and fairly.
