Summary:

The purpose of this position is to source, screen, and interview applicants for all positions in the agency. This is accomplished by developing hiring targets and goals, conducting candidate sourcing, reviewing, and processing applications, creating advertising, conducting and coordinating interviews, preparing employment offers, and ensuring the application of all policies and procedures. Other duties include representing the agency at recruiting functions, providing administrative support, and completing related projects.

Starting Rate: Minimum: $29.69/hr. - Midpoint: $39.07/hr.

Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the United States immediately. This position is not available for H1-B visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

• Sources, recruits, screens, interviews, and recommends external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs, including entry level, experienced professional/technical, support staff, and hourly, and possibly management.
• Utilizes the services of employment agencies. Places employment ads in appropriate sources, including the Internet and print media. May recruit from colleges, technical schools, and job fairs.
• Completes administrative tasks by collecting and processing applications, entering information, preparing, and submitting job postings, coordinating interviews, coordinating pre-employment processes, processing promotions and transfers, collecting and filing required forms, updating requisitions, and administering special programs.
• Provides resource information to departments and employees by interpreting and explaining agency policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and human resources benefits, assisting in the resolution of human resources matters, and following up on resolved issues, developing hiring goals and targets, and notifying departments of changes to recruiting processes.
• Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.

Qualifications:

M inimum:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in recruiting, HR support, or an administrative role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Proficiency in Workday HRIS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
• Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, and various job boards.
