This is accomplished by assisting technicians and overseeing tasks. Other duties include completing related projects as assigned and doing research on new technology to improve current operations.
- Pay Range: $70,566- $92,850***
- Retention Bonus: $1500**
- Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the United States immediately. This position is not available for H1-B visa sponsorship. **
- Assists and leads technicians in initial tasks/projects to give direction and ensure standards are followed, taking the lead on small pilot projects, innovative projects, responding to emergencies, and providing feedback to the supervisor.
- Documents technician progress by using Microsoft Word and/or Excel to ensure they are meeting expectations and following the standards set.
- Reviews installations following the work performed by technicians to provide an update to the Supervisor, oversees software updates, equipment updates and the maintenance of other various devices.
- Conducts training classes using Microsoft Power Point
- Conducts or assists in research, development, and implementation of new equipment/devices.
- Works with departments and vendors by collaborating to resolve lane issues.
- Conducts presentations for proposed ideas and assists in tours of the roadway.
- Regularly reports project status, including risks and issues to management.
- Ensures technicians adhere to established process and procedure established by the IT-Roadway department.
Minimum:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years and up to and including 5 years of technical experience.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to operate Bucket Truck controls and work at various heights up to 100ft.
- Ability to load and unload equipment (up to 100lbs) using the winch and ability to pull trailers.
- Axis Certification preferred.
- CDL License preferred.
- Linux Certification preferred.
