Position Overview
We are seeking a responsible, compassionate, and highly qualified Part-Time Physician to provide high-quality medical care to our growing patient base.
This role focuses on prevention, chronic disease management, and promoting healthy lifestyles. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, patient-focused, and committed to delivering evidence-based medicine in a supportive and efficient clinical environment.
The position offers flexible part-time scheduling with the opportunity to grow as patient volume expands.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine check-ups to assess patient health and identify potential concerns
- Provide guidance on preventive care, diet, hygiene, and lifestyle modifications
- Evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Obtain detailed patient histories and perform comprehensive physical exams
- Develop informed diagnoses based on clinical knowledge and patient presentation
- Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and clearly explain treatment plans
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and obesity
- Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and nursing staff
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical records
- Foster a compassionate, respectful, and trusting patient environment
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices
Qualifications
Required
- Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO)
- Active and unrestricted Texas medical license
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- DEA registration
- Strong understanding of diagnostic and examination methodologies
- Knowledge of infectious diseases and chronic disease management
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Preferred
- 2 years of outpatient primary care experience
- Experience with EHR systems
- Strong interest in preventive medicine and wellness
