What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at North Texas Institute Of Neurology & Headache, P. A.?
We are an established neurology medical practice that is hiring full-time medical assistants. Our company is growing at a fast rate, and our team is looking for members that can assist in the preparation of treatment rooms for the examination of patients. This role also interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), performs EKGs, and records information on patients' charts in our EMR system. Answer calls, screen calls, relay messages, and deliver them to physicians.
Requires a high school diploma and medical assistant certificate.
This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm and weekends off. Pay is commensurate with experience. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available after 60 days of employment. The standard probation period for this position is 90 days. A 401(k) is available after one year of employment. PTO will be available to employees after six months of employment, however, it accrues on day one.
