As a North Tech Cisco Networking instructor, you will support and teach high school students in an honors-level course as they learn the Cisco Networking Academy curriculum. Working in a modern computer lab, you will inspire students pursuing careers in information technology as they build the skills they need to earn their CompTIA A , Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Support Technician, and Intro to Cybersecurity certifications. You will support their development by facilitating professional connections with industry partners and professionals, including managing the World Wide Technology Apprenticeship program.
Experience and Education
- To be eligible for this position, the applicant must have a CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certificate and meet one of the following criteria:
- Four thousand (4,000) hours of industry experience; OR
- Business Education teacher DESE certification; OR
- Computer Programming/Network Administration DESE certification
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Teacher certification is not required upon hire
- Apply for career and technical education certification through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and complete up to 18 college credit hours to obtain a Career and Technical Education Teaching Certificate is required

- $49,000 to $83,250/year based on experience and education

Work Hours
- 7:10 AM to 2:40 PM, Monday through Friday
