Job description
Associate Chiropractor at a high volume clinic which has been established in the North Tampa Community for 15 years. Acupuncture Certification is desired.
Tuesday and Thursday: 8am - 6pm
Saturday: 8AM - 4PM
Responsibilities
- Perform intake assessments by listening to patients' concerns and reviewing medical records
- Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients by running different neurological and orthopedic assessments
- Record patient data and keep detailed records of every treatment session
- Perform musculoskeletal adjustments to relieve pain within a patient's body
- Consult with patients and offer techniques and ideas for them to improve their physical health and comfort in their every day life
- Refer patients to see other types of specialists when necessary
- Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
- Build and maintain positive doctor-patient relationships
- Help the chiropractic facility continue to generate new patients through marketing events.
Qualifications
- Willingness to train on instrumentation, traction devices and other corrective care techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in order to build and maintain relationships with patients
- Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle a large patient load while working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to empathize with patients who are in chronic pain and a strong desire to help improve their quality of life
- Must be able to think critically and make judgments about how best to help patients
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team
- Up to date on the latest chiropractic practices and a desire to provide cutting-age care
- Must be in good physical condition and have the dexterity and strength to perform adjustments and manipulations on patients
