Job Summary And Qualifications
This position supports the mission of HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the supervision of the Radiology Director, a Radiologist and the supervision of the supervisor of CT, the technologist performs procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric. Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
The ARRT standard of practice describes the clinical competency requirements and job responsibilities. The licensed independent practitioner controls the ordering, preparation and administration of the medication/contrast. The LIP has given authority to competently trained technologist to perform this function under their control within the facilities guidelines and policies.

- Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT(R) or ARRT(N) or NMTCB and ARRT CT registry.
- Education: Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program.
- Experience: One year experience preferred.
