Produce Manager - Winters, CA

Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to Customers, Team Members & Outside Vendors. Merchandising, Filling, Stocking, Breaking Down & Storing Loads, Culling Product, Rotating Product, Preparation of Product, Trimming, Crisping etc. Assist with Department Hiring, Team Member Coaching/Accountability/Evaluations.

Essential Job Functions:

• World Famous Friendly Customer service 
• Create a “team” atmosphere. 
• Motivate, coach & direct team members.
• Ability to hold team members accountable for work performance
• Ability to follow safety standards & required operating procedures 
• Culling off quality or out of code product and rotating new product onto display.
• Trim and crisp lettuce, celery, and other wet, perishable products.
• Observe policies and procedures established for the department.
• Continuing education of product identification uses and handling.
• Keep work area clean; follow cleaning schedule.
• Training department new team members.
• Follow productivity guidelines as set by the Store Leader.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.

Knowledge Skills Needed: 

• World famous friendly attitude with customers & team members.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to create a “team” atmosphere.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach & direct team member
• Ability to build creative displays to maximize sales.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 pounds on a regular basis.
• Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & computer technology.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Holidays
• Availability to work weekends as needed.
