Essential Job Functions:
- Store, rotate and break loads down to proper areas; cooler or backroom.
- Transport product to sales floor for filling.
- Culling off quality or out of code product and rotating new product onto display.
- Trim and crisp lettuce, celery, and other wet, perishable products.
- Observe policies and procedures established for the department.
- Continuing education of product identification uses and handling.
- Assist with training department new team members
- Keep work area clean- follow cleaning schedule.
- Follow productivity guidelines as set by the Produce Manager.
- Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
Knowledge Skills Needed:
- Provide a World-Famous Friendly attitude
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to motivate, coach & direct team members.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to multi-task& perform all tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to read case labels and shelf tags.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 pounds.
- Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.
