Company Description
North Star Special Services provides residential services for individuals that have the following types of disabilities: Behavioral Problems, Blindness/ Severe Visual impairment, Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Orthopedic Impairment, Epilepsy, Spinal Cord Injury, other Neurological Impairment, and other undetermined disabilities.
Job Description
1. Transports Clients to and from their scheduled appointments
2. Ensures that individuals have a clean, neat, and safe environment at all times.
3. Ensures that individuals participate in all required/scheduled meetings, appointments and daily activities.
4. Attends and participates in all training as scheduled.
5. Maintains current certification in Medication Administration.
6. Acts as a liason between the Doctor's office and the IP Coordinator
Pay Range is $10.10-$12.00/Hr
Qualifications
Applicant must have the following
Valid Drivers License, GED or High School Diploma, Successfully pass criminal background and drug screen.
Successfully pass basic math and reading test
Must successfully pass all required pre and post- employment training's
