About the role
Northstar Solutions is an authorized AT&T retailer committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences across our retail locations. We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Junior Retail Sales Manager to join our Baxter, MN location. In this role, you will be the face of our store, working one-on-one with customers on the sales floor to present AT&T products and services, build lasting relationships, and grow into a leadership role on our team.
This is a face-to-face, in-store retail position. Every interaction happens in person; no remote or hybrid option is available. If you love connecting with people, thrive in a retail environment, and are motivated by both individual and team success, this role is a great fit.
What you'll do
- Engage walk-in customers face-to-face on the retail sales floor
- Present and sell AT&T wireless plans, devices, accessories, and home services
- Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
- Process transactions, upgrade accounts, and handle account changes accurately
- Meet and exceed personal and store sales goals and KPIs
- Assist in mentoring and supporting new sales team members
- Maintain thorough knowledge of AT&T products, promotions, and pricing
- Uphold store appearance standards and a welcoming customer environment
- Represent Northstar Solutions and the AT&T brand professionally at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- 0–2 years of retail sales, customer service, or related experience
- Proven ability to engage confidently with customers in a face-to-face setting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
- Goal-oriented mindset with a competitive drive to succeed
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Basic tech comfort, ability to learn AT&T systems and devices quickly
- Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
Work location & schedule
This is a fully in-person position at our retail store in Baxter, MN. Candidates must be local or willing to commute. Retail hours apply; availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
