We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic care worker to join our Team!
Position Summary:
Responsible for planning, organizing and leading daily activities while creating a positive, safe and enjoyable environment. Cares for the children enrolled in before and after school care and provide quality experience for the children and parents.
Must be able to work 6:30 am – 8:30 am and 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm.
ResponsibilitiesDuties:
- Supervise children during before and after school hours to ensure their safety
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Assist with homework and educational support
- Organize outdoor and indoor play activities
- Prepare and serve snacks as per dietary guidelines
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or conflicts among children
- Administer first aid and handle emergencies as needed
- Encourage positive social interactions and teamwork among children
- Record attendance and monitor pick-up/drop-off procedures
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and organizational policies
QualificationsSkills:
- Previous experience in childcare or early education settings
- Must be at least 18 years old
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a group of children effectively
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Patience and creativity in engaging children
- Familiarity with safety and emergency procedures
- Background in education or related fields
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clear background check
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Flexibility in working hours
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be trustworthy and reliable
- Willingness to undergo necessary training programs
