What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Housekeeper position at North Star Maintenance Group?
NorthStar Maintenance Group, LLC is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain a small medical facility. Each evening, on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, after the clinic closes, I need someone to go in & clean. It takes around 3-5 hours each evening to clean. This person must be extremely dependable and not miss work.
The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.
Responsibilities:
- Clean – Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas. Wipe and dust surfaces in rooms and clean mirrors. Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, sweep & mop.
- Stock – Toilet paper, paper towels & soap dispensers.
- Other – Pick up and empty trash containers. If applicable, notify maintenance if something is not working correctly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull
- Must be very dependable and not miss work.
- Must have reliable transportation to & from work.
After being employed with us 90 days, you will be eligible for holiday pay. So, if the building is closed on a day you normally work, you will still get paid for it. You're also eligible for 401K after 90 days. After 1 year, you get paid vacation time that renews each year. After 3 years, your vacation time will double each year.
Salary : $12 - $13
