Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and managing waste disposal.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary to move furniture or equipment safely, adhering to manual handling guidelines.
• Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and hotel emergency procedures to guarantee guest safety at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries politely and efficiently during cleaning interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles, with knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care methods including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards; knowledge of SDS is advantageous.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods throughout shifts.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and safety procedures is desirable.
