Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating units, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment and systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to understand system designs.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Weld components as necessary for repairs or installations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service personnel in the field to complete projects efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment repairs and maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service or property maintenance sectors.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and manuals.
- Proficiency in welding techniques related to HVAC system repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory.
