Position Summary

This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced outpatient imaging center where you'll perform high-quality MRI examinations while providing exceptional patient care and service.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- No weekends or on-call
- Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) certification and ARRT (MR) and/or ARMRIT certification
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Perform high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations according to established protocols
- Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain appropriate patient history
- Prepare and position patients while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam
- Educate patients about their procedure and answer questions to provide an exceptional patient experience
- Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor for any adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in the RIS/PACS and EMR systems
- Perform daily quality control procedures and ensure MRI equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Adhere to MRI safety guidelines, infection control policies, HIPAA, OSHA, and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, referring providers, and fellow team members to provide outstanding patient care
- Participate in continuing education and maintain professional competency
- Assist with departmental workflow and other duties as assigned
- Strong knowledge of MRI anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy outpatient environment
