North Star Bank is seeking a detail-orientated and dedicated Vault Teller to operate the Cash Vault in a manner that results in an adequate supply of coin/currency for the bank, assure the security of vault contents, prepare shipments to Federal Reserve, fill currency and coin orders, buy and sell cash from and to tellers. This position will also provide excellent customer service and process transactions (withdrawals, deposits, money orders, etc.) in a precise and timely manner. Requirements: Previous teller/banking and cash handling experience is required. Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner. Process transactions (withdrawals, deposits, money orders, etc.) and balance drawer daily Consistently observe all procedures and guidelines established to maintain the security of the vault. Maintain department security procedures, including maintaining proper levels of working cash and cash reserve Operate teller window according to established procedures and guidelines Assure that all work tasks are completed on a timely basis Accept deposits and payments for loans and credit cards. Issuing, redeeming, savings bonds, cashier s checks, check orders Maintain a balanced teller cash drawer Report suspicious transactions, activities, and situations to appropriate personnel Provide outstanding customer service Ability to cross-sell bank products and services. Able to lift and move coin bags (up to 50 lbs.). Balancing accuracy and math skills.
