Responsibilities

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents aged 7-17? NSBH is on the lookout for a dedicated Therapist to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Monday - Friday!

What You'll Do

  • Manage a caseload of 8-10 kids.
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions weekly
  • Offer groups daily
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure successful discharge

Location: Beautiful Leesburg, Virginia, 40 miles Northwest of Washington DC. Named one of the best places to live by Money magazine. 45-acre campus in a rural area on the northern edge of Leesburg with a gymnasium, beautiful outdoor campus and high ropes course. Excellent public school system.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in human services field (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling, education).
  • Prefered: Licensed in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or a Licensed Psychologist). Or, must be resident in counseling. Preference given to candidates with CSOTP and/or CSAC.
  • Some experience with children/adolescents.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
