Key Responsibilities
- Proposal Development: Develop and write high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and showcase our company's strengths
- Content Creation: Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and reader-friendly content that aligns with client requirements and evaluation criteria
- Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, other teams, and project managers to gather necessary information and ensure technical accuracy in proposals
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and refine proposal content for clarity, grammar, and compliance, ensuring a consistent and professional tone
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met, and facilitate regular proposal status meetings
- Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to enhance proposal content and strategy
- Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of proposal content, templates, and past submissions for future reference and continuous improvement
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in technical writing or proposal development, within the government contracting sector
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities with keen attention to detail
- Ability to comprehend and articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Strong research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with proposal management tools
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines
