Summary or Purpose

The Temporary Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for
employees, visitors, and property. This short-term role supports security operations during peak
periods, special events, staff shortages, or temporary assignments. The guard will monitor
premises, enforce safety procedures, and respond to incidents in a professional and timely
manner.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Education and/or Experience:

• Graduated from high school or has a general education degree required.

• One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  

Language Skills:

• Read and interpret procedures, policies, and regulations, including safety rules,

Mathematical Skills:
• Add, subtract two-digit numbers, and multiply and divide using 10’s and 100’s.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to prevent theft, vandalism, and

• Observe and report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches.

• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents according to established procedures.

• Provide assistance and information to employees, guests, or the public in a courteous

• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
