What You’ll Do As a Telecom Manager

• Assist in the development, implementation and enforcement of project procedures, schedule, cost controls and reporting.
• Prepare and review project plans, specifications, drawings and schedules to determine work phases and priorities.
• Provide day to day direction to field activities including establishing manpower levels, employee relations and monitoring workmanship, materials conformity and compliance to design documents.
• Requisition and coordinate movement of tools, materials and equipment in accordance with procedures.
• Identify potential changes to project scope and advise team of associated impacts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
  
  

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience
• Strong knowledge of equipment and practices related to the telecom industry
• General technical knowledge of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) architectures
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with customers, quality inspectors, project managers and subcontractors
• Proven to be self-motivated, resourceful, organized and able to be involved in multiple projects simultaneously
• The willingness to travel
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check, driving record check and company drug and alcohol screening
• Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed
• May be required to work after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed
• Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position
  
  

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: Use various electronic devices in an office setting and in the field, operate motor vehicle; Frequent sit, stand and/or walk; Frequent use of sight (specifically, close to perform computer work), hearing and voice; Use of hands, arms, and fingers to perform routine and repetitive tasks
• Occasionally: Climb and stoop, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; Occasionally bend, squat, kneel, crawl or twist on concrete, dirt or gravel surface; Occasionally work in adverse weather conditions and uneven surfaces
  
  

Salary Range $125k - $150k
