Medical Laboratory Technologist

We have positions available to work as Clinical Laboratory Technologist. We have positions available, in the morning shift, to work as Generalist Medical Laboratory Technologist on full time/part time basis.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex clinical laboratory tests on specimens for diagnostic purposes under minimal supervision.

Performs laboratory tests and procedures, which require technical skill and an exercise of independent judgment with minimal supervision, and documents results to ensure compliance with laboratory and regulatory requirements. Handles varying workloads while maintaining accuracy. Follows approved policies and procedures in performing specific methodologies and instrument operations and follows approved policies for proper recording (accuracy and legibility) and reporting of all results.

To qualify you must have ASCP and/or Clinical Laboratory Technologist license by the State of New York. A Bachelor's Degree in the major of biology, chemistry or physical sciences from an accredited college with a NY State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist and 2-5 years experience is also acceptable. One year in a Clinical Chemistry laboratory with emphasis on QA/QC, Levey Jennings and Proficiency testing.

Medical Technologist - Performs Medical Laboratory Tests, procedures, experiments, and analysis to provide data for diagnosis treatment & prevention of diseases. Conducts chemical analysis of body fluids. BS in Medical Technology.
