Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician-directed care and RN supervision.

- Conducts Medical screens for all patients who are present for intake.
- Review of labs and medical histories of patients in medical facilities to determine medical appropriateness for admission
- Complete risk assessment for AWOL, danger to others, sexual acting out behavior, and vulnerability.
- Assess patients for self-harm/suicide risk and determine the level of care.
- Monitors safety of patients and the environment of care.
- Fosters a safe and nurturing environment that encourages and reinforces constructive interactions amongst patients.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living.
- Conducts age appropriate psycho-educational groups.
- Recognizes critical and obvious changes in patient conditions and reacts promptly. Communicates patient care observations and safety concerns to members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Constant use of speech to share information through oral communication.
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, reaching and keyboard use/data entry.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
- Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication, distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting/moving of patients.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Preferred Florida RN License
- Prefer 1 year of Behavioral Health RN
- Prefer 1 year of Supervisory RN responsibilities
- Ability to Communicate in English
- BLS required
