What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician - Lago Vista position at North Shore Eye Care?
Small boutique optometry office, located in beautiful Lago Vista, is looking for a full-time employee who exhibits very strong customer service skills, is extremely detail-oriented, is able to multi-task, is proficient in computer skills and excels in sales.
Experience is definitely a plus but not required. Will train the right candidate.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Performing preliminary tests on patients as part of their exam.
- Verifying insurance and helping patients understand their insurance coverage on exam, frame and lenses.
- Answering the phone and scheduling appointments when needed.
- Dispensing glasses and adjusting frames for patient's comfort.
- Repairing of glasses.
There will be cross-training as we are a small office. As they say, teamwork makes the dream work!
