Position Overview
We are seeking a caring, detail-oriented, and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, and enjoys working collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to support allergy and asthma patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with allergies, asthma, and immunologic conditions
- Administer allergy skin testing, spirometry, and other diagnostic procedures
- Prepare and administer allergy immunotherapy injections in accordance with physician protocols
- Monitor patients for reactions following treatment and provide appropriate follow-up care
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Support telehealth visits and assist with patient education regarding medications and treatment plans
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and staff
- Perform administrative and clinical support tasks as needed to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications
- Active New York State LPN license in good standing
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Previous experience in an allergy, asthma, or clinical office setting preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to multitask and provide patient-centered care in a busy clinical environment

$30-$34 an hour, Depending on experience.
