Position Summary: The Clinic Administrator reports to the physician owners and oversees key clinic staff, including the Nurse Manager, Front Office Staff, and Billing/Coding/Referral Specialists. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, HR, compliance, financial administration, and supporting the physician partners in strategic planning and practice growth. The Clinic Administrator ensures efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and a positive patient and staff experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage daily clinic operations and staff workflows across all departments.
· Oversee HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, benefits administration, and employee relations.
· Supervise clinic managers and support staff, providing coaching, guidance, and performance oversight.
· Maintain financial oversight: payroll, budgeting, provider compensation, contracts, vendor management, and reporting.
· Ensure compliance with Washington State healthcare regulations, HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable standards.
· Support physician partners in strategic planning, goal setting, and operational initiatives.
· Oversee clinic property, technology systems, EHR management, and IT/software applications.
· Prepare agendas, minutes, and maintain corporate manuals for physician meetings.
· Act as liaison between the clinic and external agencies, payors, and community partners.
· Gather and report operational and financial data for analysis and decision-making.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
· 2 years of experience in medical practice administration (pediatrics preferred).
· Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient in EHR systems, practice management software, and standard office applications.
· Knowledge of healthcare regulations, third-party payors, and government compliance requirements.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of exercising discretion and judgment.
