Description
Lynnwood, WA | BMW | Luxury European brand | Porter | Lot | Vehicle staging | Entry level | Automotive | Pacific Northwest | Snohomish County | Seattle metro | Veterans encouraged to apply | $21 - $22/hr
IS THIS YOU?
• You're reliable, careful with vehicles that aren't yours, and take pride in keeping a lot and showroom that looks the part -- at a BMW store, presentation is part of the product and the porter who maintains that standard is doing genuinely visible work
• You're looking for a stable, active role at a well-run Snohomish County luxury store where your dependability is recognized and the work has a clear structure every day
WHO WE ARE
Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40 rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.
BMW of Lynnwood serves a loyal, brand-passionate ownership community in Snohomish County. On the sales side, lot presentation and vehicle staging are a direct extension of the guest experience -- a BMW buyer who walks onto the lot or into the showroom is evaluating the store before they say a word to anyone. The Sales Porter is the person who makes sure every vehicle on that lot looks exactly the way it should, every day.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Move and stage new and pre-owned vehicles on the lot and in the showroom -- ensuring every BMW is positioned correctly, clean, and presentation-ready throughout the day
• Prepare vehicles for guest test drives and deliveries -- pulling vehicles, checking fuel level, and ensuring the vehicle is guest-ready before it reaches the sales team
• Perform basic vehicle washes and light cleaning to maintain lot and showroom presentation standards
• Keep the lot organized and properly staged -- monitoring vehicle positioning, signage, and lot flow throughout the shift
• Assist the sales team with vehicle movement and delivery logistics as needed
• Communicate any vehicle condition observations -- new damage, warning lights, or other concerns -- immediately to the appropriate team member
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout every shift
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required
• Reliable and punctual -- the sales team depends on consistent porter coverage throughout the day and vehicles staged correctly before guests arrive
• Detail-oriented and careful with vehicles -- BMW buyers notice presentation and the porter who handles inventory with genuine care reflects the store's standard directly
• Prior porter, valet, lot attendant, or driving experience a plus -- not required
• Professional demeanor -- you're visible to guests on the lot and in the showroom and represent the store in every interaction
WHAT WE OFFER
• $21 - $22/hr
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• A genuine entry point into the automotive industry -- porters who perform at Swickard grow into sales support, lot management, and service roles
• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts
WHY BMW OF LYNNWOOD
• A high-volume Snohomish County BMW store where lot presentation and vehicle staging are taken seriously -- the porter who maintains that standard consistently is a valued and visible part of the sales operation
• BMW's loyal Snohomish County ownership community means steady traffic and a sales floor that stays active -- the work has real purpose and real rhythm
• Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry
• Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- apply to how every vehicle is handled and every guest is encountered, lot included
If you're a reliable, careful driver who takes pride in keeping a luxury lot looking its best and wants a stable role at a well-run Snohomish County BMW store -- apply.
